<p>Whether you own a business, work for a business,<br />
are unemployed, retired or a student &#8212; you can<br />
honestly, successfully, immediately and massively<br />
profit from ALL the financial and economic crisis<br />
we&#8217;re dealing with today.</p>
<p>How?  Many different and lucrative ways.</p>
<p>For your business, for instance.  Say, advertising<br />
stops working well &#8212; but it&#8217;s still doing<br />
modestly.  All your competitors stop advertising,<br />
because they don&#8217;t want to pay to throw money down<br />
the drain.</p>
<p>So even more of their business dries up as they<br />
stop altogether, too, generating any new prospects<br />
or buyers.  Plus, the advertising media sees their<br />
sales drop drastically.</p>
<p>But YOU learn how to turn adversity into a<br />
prosperity strategy with advertising.</p>
<p>You use the Power Partnering lessons you learned<br />
from me to go out and do all kinds of exclusive<br />
deals with publications, online and offline media -<br />
&#8211; whatever specific media reaches YOUR target<br />
market.</p>
<p>Only, instead of spending your own precious capital<br />
up-front &#8212; you structure your deals where you<br />
only pay them for results &#8212; meaning sales in your<br />
bank account.</p>
<p>So now, you&#8217;re getting tens of thousands, hundreds<br />
of thousands&#8230;even millions of dollars every month<br />
in no-cost advertising for which you ONLY pay if<br />
(and after) you profit.</p>
<p>A flood of additional sales, prospects, buyers flow<br />

all your linear-minded competitors are dying on the<br />
vine.</p>
<p>Or&#8230;say you need equipment, inventory, or<br />
staffing.  But you have no capital or credit<br />
available to pay for them&#8230;nor do any of your<br />
competition.</p>
<p>They all stop, freeze and bypass-altogether, any<br />
thought of doing anything that might dramatically<br />
grow their business in crazy times.  They just want<br />
to cling by their fingernails to whatever business<br />
they can still hold onto.</p>
<p>But YOU use Power Partnering to acquire all the<br />
assets, access, human capital you need.  In fact,<br />
you quickly realize you have unlimited (literally<br />
infinite) access to whatever you need &#8212; no<br />
capital even required on your part.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s almost like having an unlimited checkbook to<br />
grow with.</p>
<p>You go to equipment companies who have equipment<br />
just sitting in their warehouse &#8212; and you work<br />
out Power Partnering deals.</p>
<p>In doing this, you either pay them on a performance<br />
basis that&#8217;s tied to increased sales or profit your<br />
business generates &#8212; using their equipment.</p>
<p>Or, you do a deal where you pay them zero now, and<br />
defer making any payment whatsoever UNTIL your<br />
sales hit a mutually agreed upon target.</p>
<p>Or you give them a long-term profit interest in a<br />
new profit center or income source you create, by<br />
using their dormant equipment.  There are dozens of<br />
cash-less ways to do the deal&#8230;once you learn<br />
Power Partnering.</p>
<p>If you need people &#8212; skilled, talented people you<br />
don&#8217;t need to pay out fat salaries (that you can&#8217;t<br />
afford).   Instead, you convert them to independent<br />
contractors.</p>
<p>And only pay them in direct proportion to the<br />
income or revenue or sales &#8212; or the result in<br />
expense reduction or slashed overhead they produce.</p>
<p>I know a dozen ways to do those kinds of deals,<br />
using my Power Partnering methods.</p>
<p>Want to buy a business &#8212; or many businesses, but<br />
have no capital?  You can use Power Partnering to<br />
get control of all kinds of entrepreneurial<br />
business &#8212; using zero capital on our part.</p>
<p>Zero downside or future risk, either&#8230;IF you<br />
structure it right.</p>
<p>When all the banks stop making business loans, YOU<br />
can easily and continuously get the equivalent of<br />
whatever the proceeds of those loans would acquire<br />
or pay for &#8212; ALWAYS paying for it out of the<br />
results or profits or in soft dollars &#8212; instead<br />
of hard.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re only talking about your own business right<br />
now.</p>
<p>But say you work for a business that needs any of<br />
the scenarios we&#8217;ve identified above.</p>
<p>Guess what?</p>
<p>Using Power Partnering techniques, you can make<br />
them all happen for your employer.</p>
<p>BUT rather than doing it as a nice, uncompensated<br />
gesture of loyalty to get you &#8220;brownie points&#8221; &#8212;<br />
you do it for an ongoing, hefty participation in<br />
the income, profit or revenues that the things you<br />

on a no-cost, up-front basis to them.</p>
<p>You can even provide businesses with entire new<br />
product lines and services they can offer to their<br />
existing and future buyers to multiply the profits<br />
they make off them &#8212; many times over.</p>
<p>And, again, with YOU sharing richly in all that<br />
windfall income your Power Partnering deals<br />
generate for them.</p>
<p>My point?</p>
<p>Using the Power Partnering techniques I have<br />
developed, refined and perfected, you can help just<br />
about any business you own, work for OR want to<br />
work with (and profit from) &#8212; to thrive in a<br />
crisis economy.</p>
<p>You can be their savior &#8212; or your own.</p>
<p>You can be their financier, their banker, their no<br />

<p>Along the way, this site also got hacked and it took me a bit of effort to restore it.</p>
<p>Going ahead, I think the frequency of my updates will be one post every one or two months.</p>
<p>Anyway, just a quick update of what Jay Abraham is currently offering. In case you haven&#8217;t got his email, he&#8217;s conducting a course on doing joint ventures. The three classes via teleconference will be held over the next two weeks.</p>

<p>Life is about connecting the dots, and you can only do it when you look back, never when you look forward. Believing that the dots will somehow connect in the future will give you the confidence to follow your heart.</p>
<p>Sometimes, life is going to hit you in the head with a brick. Don&#8217;t lose faith. You got to find what you love - and that is true for work as well as for your lover. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.</p>
<p>If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you will most certainly be right. Remembering that he will be dead soon is the most important tool Steve uses to help him make the big choices in life. Almost everything fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.</p>
<p>Stay hungry, stay foolish.</p>

<p>You can engineer a continuous array of quantitative breakthroughs in strategies, marketing, innovation and management by travelling outside your business and industry. These are a few ways you can do it:</p>
<ol>
<li>Get your friends in other industries to pass you their trade journals and all the selling presentations they get.</li>
<li>Look at all the different advertisements in different magazines and newspapers.</li>
<li>Take time off when you are moving around. Stop at different retail facilities and let them sell you.</li>
<li>Look at signages when you drive.</li>
<li>Study other topics you have never studied before.</li>
<li>Go to Amazon and look at the top business books. Look at other topics.</li>
<li>Get students to read a book for you every week and summarise it.</li>
<li>Start contacting high performing people in different industries and offer to exchange ideas.</li>
</ol>
<p><strong>Concept of Attriction</strong></p>
<p>Most companies don&#8217;t even have a clue which of their customers become inactive.</p>
<p>There are three reasons why this happens and they are easily corrected.</p>
<p>1) They had an interruption in their life and they stop transacting with you through no fault of yours. Contact them in person, by phone, letter, email or fax. Tell them sincerely you are concerned about them.</p>
<p>2) They had a bad experience with you.</p>
<p>It is critical you don&#8217;t allow that situation to persist. Again, you have to contact them and offer to remedy the situation.</p>
<p>3) The client stops having a use for your product or service.</p>
<p>That is not a reason to stop contacting them. Instead it is a good opportunity to get referrals from them.</p>
<p>All three are great ways to grow your business but you can&#8217;t do that unless you know who the inactive customers are.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The greatest salesman in the world, Joe Girard, was in Singapore a couple of days ago to share some of his experiences with us.</p>
<p>Joe Girard is recognized by the <span class="mw-redirect">Guinness Book of World Records</span> as the most successful salesman, selling 13,001 cars at a Chevrolet dealership in Detroit between 1963 &amp; 1978. All the sales were retail and non-wholesale sales of first hand vehicles.</p>
<p>Joe started his speech by telling us that if anyone wants to tell (sell) us a secret, we should run away. These are some of the other things that Joe shared.</p>
<ol>
<li>Success is the result of staying focused and taking one step at a time. By staying focused, we have time to plant our seeds. There are certain actions that will &#8220;kill&#8221; us.
<ul>
<li>Sneaking away from work to play a little golf.</li>
<li>Having a long lunch or leaving early.</li>
<li>Having a sideline.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>If you are in sales, you should avoid having lunch with our work colleagues. Everyday, we should have a lunch appointment that will help us build our business. It would be even better if they were positive people.</li>
<li>Always smile and listen. &#8220;<em>I like you</em>&#8221; is Joe&#8217;s golden mantra.</li>
<li>It&#8217;s all about service. The real sale begins after the sale. The service is what differentiates the salespeople from one another. One thing that Joe did was to send his customers a thank you card and follow up with another phone call a few days later. He also sends them a referral card offering to reward his customers for giving him referrals.</li>
<li>He also sends them a handwritten greeting card every month of the year. The number of cards reached more than 16,000 per month and he had to hire people to help him do it. As a result of the repeated exposure to Joe, such was his customers&#8217; impression of Joe that when Guineess Book of World Records started to call up some of them to audit his sales, all of the buyers could recall Joe by name. Everyone in the family knew who Joe was.</li>
<li>Giving out tons of his namecards is another of Joe&#8217;s strategy.</li>
<li>Organise and plan your day beforehand.</li>
</ol>
<p>The ideas all seem very simple but in my opinion, the key thing that makes Joe Girard successful is the extra mile he takes to keep in touch with all his customers and potential clients.</p>

<p>Without going into details, here&#8217;s the list of the 17 stratagems. Try to think about these in the context of your own business.</p>
<ol>
<li>Having an effective vision for yourself, your business and the world.</li>
<li>Focus on bringing value to all your stakeholders, not just your clients.</li>
<li>Knowing yourself (and what you are not)</li>
<li>Recognise your value and your contributions.</li>
<li>Become great in (at least) one thing.</li>
<li>Having a personal and professional philosophy to base all your decisions on.</li>
<li>Having consistency and knowing what you are willing/unwilling to do.</li>
<li>Gravitate towards greatness.</li>
<li>Have the end in mind and know what it is.</li>
<li>Know the potential impact of your vision and actions.</li>
<li>Having a clear plan that includes both strategies and tactics.</li>
<li>Keep making incremental improvements. Look for quantum leaps via innovation.</li>
<li>Systemize, measure and manage.</li>
<li>Be consistent and accountable about your vision and goals.</li>
<li>Be flexible.</li>

<p>The headline is a critical aspect of your marketing as it is the opening statement to a prospect before they decide whether they want to do anything else. You want to convey to the prospect compelling benefits so that he is intrigued to carry on.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t think of headlines as only the title on a salesletter. It can also exist in various other formats:</p>
<ul>
<li>The opening phrase you use in person or on the phone to greet a prospect</li>
<li>The banner you use</li>
<li>The signage on your shop or vehicle</li>
<li>The subject heading in your email or fax</li>
<li>The beginning of your advertisement or brochure</li>
</ul>
<p>Here are some examples of test-tested headlines. You can think of modifing some of them to suit you needs. This is the fastest way to create your own headlines.</p>

<p>If you want to craft your own headline from scratch, here are some methods of framing you can adopt in writing it:</p>

<li>Measure the speed of the claim</li>
<li>Comparing the claim</li>
<li>Metaphorise the claim</li>
<li>Sensatise the claim</li>
<li>Demonstrate the claim showing examples</li>
<li>State the claim as a paradox</li>
<li>Remove limitations from a claim</li>
<li>Associate the claim with other people whom the prospect can identify</li>
<li>Show how much in detail the claim does</li>
<li>Offer information how to accomplish the claim</li>
<li>Tie authority to the claim</li>

<p>The last two aspects of a direct mail package are the lift note and the order device.</p>
<p><strong>Lift Note</strong></p>
<p>To summarise and restate the entire essence of the offer and the payoff for the reader.</p>
<p><strong>Order or response device </strong></p>
<p>Can be an order form they can fax or mail back.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t just think of direct mail as a one dimensional tool for getting sales.</p>
<p>Among other things, direct mail can be used to uncover leads, setup appointments, sell a product or service, presell a call, follow up on a call, follow up on a sale, provide continual updates, announcement of new products and promotions.</p>

<p>Regretfully, I won&#8217;t be able to make it for the event. <img src='http://www.abrahamclub.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' /> I&#8217;ve been extremely busy with some financial stuff that I&#8217;m getting into.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the email from Jay with details for the call:</p>

<p>It&#8217;s funny. When you&#8217;re committed to something that&#8217;s truly meaningful &#8212; and important to you - you&#8217;ll do things you&#8217;d never agree to do, normally.</p>
<p>Well, my staff told me we&#8217;ve received not a few - but a TON of questions and issues posed by people on our list asking all kinds of probing things.</p>
<p>Such as what IS so special different, important and essential about attending my upcoming ReunionReunion in Los Angeles on April 8th, 9th, and 10th.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t do Q &amp; A anymore unless I&#8217;m paid an absolute bundle.  The last time I did it I received $150,000 for a few hours of my authoritative-based, perspective.</p>
<p>But I am so absolutely, totally and passionately committed to my upcoming ReunionReunion that I&#8217;ve decided to compile all the diverse (and impressive array of sincere) questions we&#8217;ve received about ReunionReunion.</p>
<p>I have answered them live, in person by teleconference - one time, only.</p>
<p>Three thousand people have told us that they&#8217;re coming to ReunionReunion &#8212; once I help them answer one or two remaining questions.</p>
<p>As impressive as that sounds - and it is, I respect the people who take action and are decisive the most.</p>
<p>Also, the entire room will be lucky to accommodate 1,000 of you &#8212; and we already have a significant group of attendees registered.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve got room for 1,000 people at the live event.</p>
<p>I will rebroadcast it this week, via scheduled playback.  The scheduled replay is as follows:</p>

<p>I don&#8217;t do downloads at will - because I don&#8217;t believe that people take it as seriously as they do when they schedule time for listening.</p>
<p>If you are serious about coming - you&#8217;d probably be wise to listen to the rebroadcast.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re unavailable but seriously interested - sign up immediately for one of the replays.</p>
<p>I can&#8217;t tell you how passionately committed I am to this-one, specific event.  You&#8217;ll hear why if you&#8217;re on this call.</p>
