<description>Hi, I don't know where exactly on this blog I could open a topic for a discussion so I will do it here since I would like to have one.

I would like to invite readers of Sticking point solution to discuss the 4th chapter here, "Are you stuck with erratic business volume?"

I have difficulty in grasping completely the strategy underlying the example that illustrates it, on the beginning of the chapter. It is said that Colonial Penn Life Insurance was trying to snatch a market share (to play the offense) from competitors before they decided to change the strategy. After it turned out to be ineffective, Colonial Penn executives started to assume the role of defense. Sounds nice but how exactly did they do it? What does that mean? What is the strategy pattern out of which the act ensues? If somebody could offer to explain pls. It says here that they "started their own organization, so that they became their own captive clients." Can somebody explain what does that mean and how can you bring money in your company by becoming a client of your own? And what has that got to do with "attracting senior population." What is the key of the strategy? My IQ is around 130 but I still can't figure this out. Can somebody help me with this out.

Thank you in advance

<description>I really enjoy the e-mails thank you so much.
Not sure if you can help with my problem, but here it goes...
I install for directv and we are required to make atleast one sell per month.(not a big deal right?)
Well I put out flyers produce by the company by the thousands and if I'm lucky I might get one call.
I would love to sell thousands becouse it would be just as profitable for me.
What can I do to be the best and turn these things around.
Thanks again
