The Story Behind The Secret

In recent months, “The Secret” has become a worldwide phenomenon and a media frenzy. In the United States, it has been on CNN, Oprah, Larry King, Show Biz Tonight and The New York Times.

I’m sure you will acknowledge that they have done an awesome marketing job.

Marci Shimoff (co-author of the mega-best-seller Chicken Soup for the Woman’s Soul & star of The Secret) will be conducting an exclusive interview with Rhonda Byrne, the creator and executive producer of “The Secret”.

If you would like to know:

* the inside story behind the creation and unfolding of The Secret;

* the unique never-before-revealed way Rhonda used the principles of The Secret herself to turn The Secret into a global phenomenon; and

* about the surprising plans for The Secret II…

Then you might want to considering listening to this interview. The “live” call will be done on Tuesday, April 10th.

    The real secret behind “The Secret” is that the way to make money using “The Secret” is not by applying it but by selling it. It’s philosophy, not science though they toss around some scientific terms to try to convince people otherwise.

    I recommend checking out some of the critiques of “The Secret” at the following page:

    Hi Rob,

    Thanks for your link.

    As with any other theory, there will always be believers and non-believers.

    Personally, I believe that positive thinking works as it tends to focus you to take actions towards achieving your goals.

    As to those “Think of a car and it will be delivered” to you kind of thinking, I don’t buy it at all.

    Other than that, I like to see the lessons we can learn from a marketing point of view.

    They have taken a simple concept and spread it globally using mainly word of mouth.

    With such a huge distribution, they can literally monetise it using whatever ways they want.
